So I’ve decided that my next tattoo(s) is going to be Gallifreyan script.
I don’t know which words to get, but this is a good start. I really like “travel”, “sound”, “Lady”, “create”, “time”, “peace”, “chaos”, “escape”, “dream”, “ascent”, and “obscurity”. I mean, now, I can’t get all of them, but GAH. Look at how pretty.
Definitely doing this soon. Like, perhaps tomorrow. We’ll see what my check looks like tonight.
I’ve been talking about getting “time” and “lady” in Gallifreyan tattooed on the back of my calves… and I stand by that decision still.
i fuckiNG LOVE CIRCULAR GALLIFREYAN

The Black Death Plague Doctor:
A plague doctor was a special medical physician who saw those who had the Bubonic Plague. In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, some doctors wore a beak-like mask which was filled with aromatic items. The masks were designed to protect them from putrid air, which (according to the miasmatic theory of disease) was seen as the cause of infection. The protective suit consisted of a heavy fabric overcoat that was waxed. A wooden cane pointer was used to help examine the patient without touching.
